Velvet Teddy has an acclaimed reputation as the lip product behind Kylie Jenner's infamous pout and consequently was a sell out. So, it wasn't long until I popped the ever so popular shade into my basket and on its arrival straight onto my lips. It’s gorgeous blue tones give it a beautiful pink colour that’s going to be a staple of yours, it’s easy to fall in love with.After putting out feelers via a Twitter poll as what MAC lipstick I should purchase next (enabling at its best), MAC Velvet Teddy came out top, dominating 48% of the vote. Snob is another that is fabulous for wearing every day, taking your daily makeup look to another level. It’s as pink as you can get, I absolutely love it! For all girly girls Saint Germain is a must have, it’s one of Mac’s oldies but goodies. Saint Germain is what I like to think of as the ultimate bubblegum Barbie pink. Now Myth doesn’t have the best reviews online, but I’m here to prove that it doesn’t look like you’re slicking on concealer, well not on me anyway! Myth was one of my first ever Mac lipsticks, I wanted to go for something quite safe, and you can’t ever go wrong with a nice nude. My boyfriend chose it for me so I honestly was really pleasently surprised when I tried it for the first time! Blankety looks gorgeous and is subtle enough for every day wear, or team it with a darker lipliner (I like Spice from Mac) to ramp it up for more of an evening look. So, like almost every other girl on the planet, I wanted to give the Kylie Jenner lips a try! Enter Velvet Teddy, which after much deliberation on whether to get this, as frankly it’s completely out of my comfort zone and far darker than I’d usually go for – I’m really glad I gave it a go! It’s a rich colour that lasts ages and really stands out if you want to jazz up your makeup or outfit.īlankety is my go-to nudey-brown kind of colour.
